Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 80 days. It has been pointed out by the State that there are number of statements under Section 164 Cr.P.C. implicating the present petitioner.

Having considered the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners in CRM (M) 219 of 2026 is rejected at this stage.
