The petitioner complains that the private respondents are forcing him to sell his property to repay the money taken by his son under an alleged Ponzy Scheme.

It is submitted that despite complaint, Police Station has not taken any steps in the matter. Counsel for the State submits that proceedings under Sections 107 and 116 of the Code of Criminal Proceedings have been drawn up.

It shall be ensured that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and the petitioner is not harassed by the private respondents.

Instructions of the Islampur Police Station addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta dated 2nd February, 2020 be taken on record. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
