Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the accused Dablu Singh, who has been granted bail in CRM (M) 2322 of 2025, are on the same footing. Petitioner is in custody for 11 months 15 days and till date, only charge has been framed and the prosecution proposes to examine 30 witnesses cited in the charge-sheet. As such, petitioner prays for bail on any stringent condition. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the earlier order passed by this Court on 05.02.2026 itself reflects the complicity of the present petitioner, Machhar Singh, who is one and the same person. There is consistent version of the witnesses regarding the complicity of the present petitioner.

Having taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the petitioner at this stage. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 222 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.
