The petitioner had applied by communication dated 07.01.2021 for a copy of the post mortem report of late Debasish Das for the purpose of obtaining a certificate of cremation and a certificate of death. The said certificates are stated to be required for the purpose of seeking probate to the last will and testament of the said deceased.

In that view of the matter, the Officer-in-Charge, Anandapur Police Station shall furnish to the petitioner a copy of the post mortem report within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
