According to the petitioner, circumstances are such that she cannot reside at her own residence as politically influenced persons are flexing their muscles and at the behest of their aids and associates looted the property of the petitioner and the concerned Police Station did not take any steps. Petitioner is presently aggrieved by the fact that she is unable to enter the residence and has to stay at Delhi.

Learned counsel representing the State has submitted a report which reflects that the petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerheads, while the petitioner has instituted about five cases which have been registered as Asansol (North) Police Station, at the instance of each of the private respondents also cases have been registered at Asansol (North) Police Station.

I have considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the respective parties.

The only remedy which this Court can grant to the petitioner at this stage is that if she cannot stay at her residence and, in case, the Police Authorities are approached 24 hours ahead, they would provide escort so that the petitioner and her family members can enter and stay at the residence which belongs to her. A lady Police Officer be engaged who would every alternative day visit the residence of the petitioner to assess as to whether any untoward incident has taken place when the petitioner and her family members are staying at the residence. The Police Authorities are directed to keep strict vigil and to ensure that there is no breach of peace or tranquility at the locale and that no untoward incident results at the behest of the respondents therein or the associates.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition being WPA 1600 of 2025 is disposed of.

The report so submitted be kept with the record. Urgent photostat certified server copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities.
