Petitioner is in custody for a period of 14 years and 4 months and prays for bail in connection with the instant case. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but however is unable to refute the contention that other accused person has been released on bail and there are five more witnesses to be examined by the prosecution. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioner I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.
Accordingly, Petitioner, namely, Dinesh Yadav shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each. One of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned ACJM, Sealdah.
If on bail petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Kolkata without the prior permission of the learned Trial Court.
Accordingly, CRM (M) 237 of 2026 is allowed.
