In compliance of the direction passed by this Court on 19th November, 2019, the Joint Secretary, Government of West Bengal, Panchayat & Rural Development Department has considered the case of the petitioner and passed a reasoned order on 14th February, 2020.

The learned advocate appearing for the contemnor submits that due to pandemic there has been a delay in communicating the order of the Court but the order was passed within the time as specified in the order.

As it appears that there has been substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court, the contempt application stands disposed of accordingly. Personal appearance of the contemnor is dispensed with.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
