The petitioner has sought certain documents, which he alleges were not given to him. The petitioner has preferred an application under Section 6 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, which failed. An appeal was preferred there from, which has since been disposed of by an order dated December 19, 2024.

The petitioner's grievance is that the documents were not given to the petitioner, (enclosures sent to the ADM & DL & LRO, South 24 Parganas regarding Misc Case no. 43 of 2024 vide Memo No. 1544/BLLRO/KOL/24 dated 5th June, 2024).

The petitioner has an efficacious and alternative remedy available to him by way of a second appeal under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

In view thereof, the writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 5.
