Having heard the Counsel for the petitioner and having considered the report submitted by the police, this Court orders that the investigation into the FIR being Gaighata Police Station Case No. 46 of 2022 dated 14.01.2022 and Gaighata Police Station Case No. 45 of 2022 dated 14.01.2022 be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Gaihata Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

In view of disposal of the main writ petition, the connection application being CAN 1 of 2022 shall also stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
