Hossain ... for the State Mr. Panchanan Hazra ... for respondent 7 to 10 Petitioner is aggrieved of the fact that his representation addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Tarakeshwar Police Station dated 15.01.2025 was not addressed inspite of offence having been disclosed in the said information.

Learned counsel representing the State has submitted a report which reflects that the Tarakeshwar Police Station Case No. 21/2025 dated 17.01.2025 has already been registered, on the basis of the information furnished on 15.01.2025.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the information furnished by them has also resulted in registration of the F.I.R. by the same Police Station.

Be that as it may, the Police Authorities are investigating both the cases.

In view of the above, the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

With the above observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 1607 of 2025 is disposed of. The report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of such report be handed over to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Urgent photostat certified server copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities.
