1. The petitioners claim to be owners of certain plots of land and intend to sell off the same. Their grievance is that the registering authority is not registering the sale deed in respect of the said plots of land.

2. Prayer has been made to direct the registering authority to register the sale deed which they will present for registration.

3. The petitioners have averred in the writ petition that the land of the scheduled tribe people is being sold to the people belonging to the general caste.

4. The Court is not aware as to whether the land belongs to the tribals or whether it can be sold to the general category persons.

5. There is nothing on record to suggest that the registering authority is not registering the land of the petitioners for sale. In the absence of proper averments, the relief sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
