The writ petition was preferred as the 15.07.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.761 Rakib representation dated 13.08.2023 addressed to the Officerin-Charge, Kasba Police Station was not addressed by the concerned police authorities. The petitioners are one Kasba Adarsa Samaj who carries out the performance of puja at the Mandir. The representations were made by the organization to the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 4 to 9 as well as the State is present.

Having regard to the nature of the dispute, I am of the opinion that the police authorities have hardly any role to address until and unless directed by an appropriate forum. Having considered that such a representation was made on August, 2023, petitioners if faced with similar inconveniences would approach the police authorities being armed with an order of the appropriate Civil Court. Thus, no interference is called for in the writ petition at this belated stage.

Accordingly, WPA 1379 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
