Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. The police complaint was lodged after 16 days of the alleged incident. The petitioner is in detention for 247 days. The police filed charge-sheet. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that there are criminal antecedents of the petitioner. She draws the attention of the Court to the injury report.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
C.R.M. (DB) 238 of 2022 is dismissed.
