Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 128 days. The police filed charge-sheet, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required. He highlights the medical condition of the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the son of the petitioner is the de facto complainant. There is statement of the married daughter of the petitioner implicating the petitioner. He draws the attention of the Court to the contents of the Port-mortem report.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, as prima facie appearing from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M.(DB) 241 of 2022 is rejected.
