He reiterates his submission recorded in order dated 10th February, 2021, when respondent went unrepresented. Text of said order is reproduced below:- "Mr. Purakayastha, learned advocate appears on behalf of appellant and submits, his client is not interested to continue with the appeal as per his letter dated 6th February, 2021, handed up.

Respondent goes unrepresented.

Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent / wife. He submits, there is direction for permanent alimony which has not been complied with. We find the appeal was moved before us on 27th January, 2021, record of proceeding made and thereafter this development. Respondent / wife must take steps for compliance by appellant / husband.

In view of aforesaid, the appeal and application are dismissed.
