Petitioner renews prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 640 days. The earlier prayer for bail was rejected when the deposition of the victim was not recorded. He draws the attention of the Court to the deposition of the victim. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary.

The evidential value of the witnesses alluded are to be adjudicated upon the trial. Given the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 243 of 2022 is dismissed.
