* * * * The present writ petition was filed in the year 2009 challenging the order issued by the government directing disconnection of electricity and waterline of the tanneries existing in Tiljala, Topsia, Tangra and Pagla Danga.

A perusal of various orders passed by this Court shows that no interim relief was granted to the petitioners.

Further, the order passed on January 16, 2009 shows that the present writ application was to be heard along with W.P. 21315(W) of 2008.

We have perused the aforesaid writ petition being W.P. 21315(W) of 2008 and find that the same was dismissed in default on March 06, 2009.

The present petition was listed last on October 23, 2009 and has not been pursued by the petitioners thereafter.

On the last two occasions, namely, July 26, 2021 and August 04, 2021, no one has appeared for the petitioners.
