In pursuance of the direction passed by this Court dated 15.07.2025, a report is submitted by the department along with a report received from the S.I. of Haringhata P.S., RPD dated 17.09.2025.

It appears from the said reports that during pendency of this appeal, both the respondents/accused person nos. 1 and 2 have already expired.

This instant appeal is preferred at the instance of the appellant/complainant challenging the impugned judgment and order of acquittal passed by the learned Trial Court dated 10th May, 1979 in connection with Criminal Appeal No. 4A of 1979.

As the respondents/accused persons have already been expired, the instant appeal stands abated against them. 8.

Accordingly, the instant appeal be and the same is hereby dismissed as abated.

Let a copy of this order along with TCR be sent down to the learned Trial Court immediately.
