Case No. 444 of 2024 dated 29.07.2024 was registered for investigation, till date, charge-sheet has not been submitted.

Although, it is not within the domain of the Court to dictate when the investigating agency would submit their charge-sheet. However, report submitted by the learned advocate for the State reflects that charge-sheet has already been

submitted before the learned ACJM, Alipore.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that on the second complaint only, the police took action and registered the case.

Learned advocate for the private respondents contends that the information furnished with the police authorities in respect of the accusations of the earlier complaint has not been enclosed along with the writ petition, only the G.D. Entry has been enclosed.

Be that as it may, since the police has already acted and expressed their opinion by way of submitting chargesheet, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred has been subserved.

With the aforesaid observations,

WPA 1663 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
