of dated 27.03.2016 under Sections 186/353/333/ 323/307/427/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioner has filed the instant application for Anticipatory Bail.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and has been falsely implicated in the instant case being misguided by the hue and cry raised by the villagers. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that police officials were assaulted when they intercepted a person possessing fake currency. Additionally, learned Advocate submits that the prayer for anticipatory bail of a similarly placed co-accused person has been rejected by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

We have perused the materials in the case diary. Having regard to the incriminating materials found against the petitioner in the case diary, we are not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The application being CRM 678 of 2021 is dismissed. (Harish Tandon, J.) (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
