The petitioner has raised an objection regarding the electricity connection granted by WBSEDCL to the husking mill operated by respondent no. 5.

Respondent no. 5 is not represented.

From the report submitted by WBSEDCL, it appears that a physical inspection was conducted, and it was observed that the distance between the petitioner's husking mill and that of respondent no. 5 is approximately 1 kilometre.

In view of the above, this Court finds no merit in the representation made by the petitioner before WBSEDCL, as contained at page 23 of the writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 1701 of 2025 is dismissed.
