This writ petition was called on several dates but the petitioner did not appear in-person inspite of upgrading the writ petition from its usual serial number.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on receipt of directions under section 156(3) Cr.P.C., Maheshtala Police Station Case No. 460/24 was registered for investigation and subsequently on conclusion of investigation charge sheet was submitted. Report also reflects that proceedings under section 107 of Cr.P.C. has been drawn up against the petitioner and his brother.

Be that as it may, the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents as it reflects from the police report is for a considerable period of time.

Having regard to the nature of the disputes complained of, I am of the view that the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Court, no interference is called for by this Court. Learned advocate for the private respondents is present.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 1670 of 2025 is disposed of.
