The case pertains to the year 2009.

Upon perusal of the records, it appears that the writ petitioner approached this Court contending that she was an Anganwari Helper under I.C.D.S. Project at Kashipur, District Purulia. She was working there since 1985. But, arbitrarily, she was removed when the fresh appointment was made in the year 2008. However, it is undisputed that this service was contractual assignment.

Considering the long pendency and the merit of this case, this Court seems the present writ petition became infructuous due to passage of time and prayer made by the petitioner cannot be allowed as casual worker is not entitled to regularize in such project as matter of right.

Therefore, the instant writ petition being WPA 356 of 2009 is, thus, dismissed.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 7.
