Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record.

Document is filed in support of putting in deficit court fees and same is taken on record.

Petitioners are working as Group-C and Group-D employees in Paschim Banga Samagra Shiksha Mission (for short "PBSSM").

By presenting this writ petition, petitioners have claimed sanction of higher pay as their counterparts working in different departments of Government of West Bengal are getting higher pay. 5.

On hearing the learned advocates representing the parties, it appears that till date issue has not been considered by the concerned authority though a

representation is preferred by petitioners far back on 12th March, 2024 addressed to the State Project Director, Paschim Banga Samagra Shiksha Mission being respondent no.3.

Learned advocate representing PBSSM submits that in view of pendency of representation before the respondent no.3 same may be decided by the respondent no.3 in accordance with law.

State respondents are represented by learned advocates.

The writ petition stands disposed of granting leave to the petitioners to make a comprehensive representation to the respondent no.3 claiming pay parity considering pay received by their counterparts working in several departments of State Government by fortnight from date.

If such representation is made within the aforesaid time addressed to the respondent no.3, same shall be decided in accordance with law by eight weeks thereafter on granting opportunity of hearing to one representative of the petitioners.

10. Respondent no.3 shall pass a reasoned order and same shall be communicated to the parties by ten days thereafter.

11. There shall be no order as to costs.

12. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if

applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
