Petitioner submits victim had converted to Islam and married him. Subsequently, she took Khula and was residing separately. She suffered unnatural death. Petitioner has been falsely implicated in the murder. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits petitioner and victim were residing together as husband and wife at the time of incident.

We have considered the materials on record. We have also gone through the statement of the landlord of the victim. The landlord stated victim was staying with a person named Raja Shaw who was also known as Md. Salik Hussain i.e. the petitioner. 4.

In light of the aforesaid incriminating material and gravity of the offence, we are of the view custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him. 5.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
