The petitioner alleges that unauthorized construction is being carried out at the instance of respondent nos. 8 to 11 over L.R. Dag Nos. 14, 15, 18, 20, 8/321, and 9/322 of Mouza Charvidya, J.L. No. 58, P.S. Basanti, District South 24 Parganas.

The petitioner claims ownership of the said land and alleges that respondent nos. 9 to 11 are forcibly raising construction thereon without obtaining permission from the concerned Panchayat Authority.

It appears that the petitioner has submitted a representation before the Pradhan, Charvidya Gram Panchayat, which is annexed at page 13 of the writ

petition.

The learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the said representation shall be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid, there is no reason to keep this writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the concerned authority, namely Charvidya Gram Panchayat, is directed to take necessary steps in terms of Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 1690 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
