The contempt application has been filed alleging violation of the direction passed by the Court directing the Bar Council to conduct virtual hearing. 2.

Specific stand of the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Bar Council is that the facility for providing virtual hearing is not available with the Bar Council.

A report to that extent has also been filed before this Court.

As the learned counsel presently representing the Bar Council submits that the order directing virtual hearing to be taken was passed on erroneous submission made by the erstwhile learned advocate representing the Council and as actually the said facility is not available, accordingly, the Court is of the opinion that there is no deliberate, intentional or willful violation of the order passed by the Court.

In view of the above, the contempt application stands disposed of.

The writ petition is pending consideration.

Let the writ petition along with all connected applications including the review application being RVW 54 of 2025 be added in the Combined Monthly List of August 2025.
