The grievance of the petitioner is directed against an order of provisional assessment dated 17 October 2025 read with the final order of assessment dated12 November 2025.

On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that there has been no appeal against the impugned orders and there is a serious case of theft of electricity connection.

In view of the statutory alternative remedy available to the petitioner, WPA 3248 of 2026 stands dismissed.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail of any steps in accordance with law.
