The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of the subject History at Taki Bhabanath High School (HS), Taki, District - North 24 Parganas.

The petitioner was appointed on February 06, 2004 as an untrained teacher, but had completed his training qualification by March, 2015.

The petitioner is complaining that though he is entitled to, but has not been given increments and benefits for the period from July 2009 to July 2014 in terms of the order of the School Education Department, Secondary Branch, Government of West Bengal, bearing No. 806-SE/S/10M29/16 (Pt III) dated July 08, 2019. The District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas, the respondent no. 3 herein is the competent authority to address the said grievance of the petitioner. The petitioner, therefore is at liberty to approach the respondent no. 3 with a formal representation within a week from date for consideration of his said prayer. If such a representation is filed, the said respondent shall consider

the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of it.

W.P.A. 1465 of 2024 is disposed of with the above observations without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
