1. Learned advocate for the petitioner says that he is in custody for 2 years and 6 months. The case is based on circumstantial evidence. There is no eye-witness to the alleged incident of murder. He prays for bail.

2. Learned State advocate tells us that the Investigating Officer of the case, who is the last prosecution witness, is in the process of being examined before the learned Trial Court. The trial will surely conclude within the next three months.

3. We have perused the material in the case diary and the depositions of the witnesses already examined.

4. In view of prima facie incriminating material being available against the petitioner and considering that the trial is on the verge of conclusion and noting the assurance of learned State advocate that the trial will conclude within the next three months, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail.

5. CRM (DB) 312 of 2025 is dismissed.
