(A) 241 of 2024 Leave is granted to the learned advocate for the petitioner in C.R.M.(A) 232 of 2024 to correct the cause title. Two applications for anticipatory bail are taken up for consideration as they emanate at the same police station case. Petitioner in C.R.M. (A) 232 of 2024 is the husband. Petitioner in C.R.M. (A) 232 of 2024 married second time. The police complaint is in relation to the second marriage. Neighbour statement available in the case diary suggests that the husband drove away the first wife after torturing and

demanding dowry from her. Husband and in-laws are meting out the same treatment so far as the present wife is concerned. Materials in the case diary suggest requirement of investigation. Enlargement of any of the petitioners on anticipatory bail will send a wrong signal to the society.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners in both the petitions and the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. The applications being CRM (A) 230 of 2024 and C.R.M. (A) 241 of 2024 are dismissed.
