1. In the instant writ petition the petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent authorities to accept the balance amount payable by the petitioner with additional charges in respect of the e-auction notice dated 17th December, 2024.

2. Learned advocate representing WBSEDCL submits upon instruction that, the subsequent e-auction process stood completed and the goods in question have already been sold off. The pro-bid amount has also been paid to the petitioner. The pre-bid amount of the petitioner stood forfeited.

3. It appears that the petitioner is aggrieved by the same. The subsequent fact gives rise to a fresh cause of action which cannot be decided in the present writ petition.

4. It will be open for the petitioner to initiate further proceeding challenging the forfeiture of the pre-bid amount.

5. The writ petitioner stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
