The grievance of the petitioner is directed against refusal of the WBSEDCL in providing an electricity connection to the submersible pump of the petitioner.

On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection in principle in providing such connection subject to completion of all formalities and construction of the necessary meter room.

On behalf of the petitioner, it is submitted that a meter room has been constructed recently and they are ready and willing to comply with all other formalities.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, WPA 1800 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to provide the electricity

connection to the submersible pump of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order and after compliance with all necessary statutory formalities including payment of all fees.
