2. The petitioners are unsuccessful candidates in the NEET-UG-2025.

3. In spite of having participated in the process, the petitioners were not allotted any seats in any of the Medical Colleges.

4. Mr. Sarkar, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, fairly contends that there is no right which has been violated and the present writ-petition is nothing more than a mercy petition.

5. The entire process of counseling and admission has already been closed. There is no opportunity to allow the petitioners a further chance of being allotted seats in the medical colleges. Any such attempt would create mayhem in the system.

6. WPA 1677 of 2026 is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
