The petitioner claims higher pay scale.

Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, Mr. Bibek Jyoti Basu, learned State counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 3 places a forwarding letter dated September 13, 2023 written and issued by the jurisdictional District Inspector of Schools to him appending a letter of the petitioner dated September 12, 2023 where from it appears that the petitioner since having received his claim is no more willing to proceed with the writ petition. The said document, handed over to Mr. Basu placed before this Court, is taken on record.

In view of the above, the writ petition, WPA 401 of 2010 stands dismissed as not pressed on being infructuous.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
