The petitioners are auto rickshaw operators and the Secretary of Auto Rickshaw Operators Union of their respective routes. The grievance of the petitioners is that the concerned authority has been issuing huge number of offer letters to auto rickshaw operators in their routes, thereby reducing the business of the petitioners. The petitioners seek to submit a comprehensive representation ventilating their grievance. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the concerned authority to consider their representation at the earliest.

It is submitted on behalf of the respondents that the 4th respondent be directed to consider the representation in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 1571 of 2023 is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation before the 4th

respondent within seven days from date. The 4th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a month from the date of receipt thereof upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioners, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
