Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State are taken on record. The petitioner seeks registration of the complaint lodged by her against the members of her matrimonial family, proper investigation of the case and arrest of the accused/private respondents. The petitioner complains that the private respondents have been threatening her continuously.

It appears from the report submitted by the State that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, specific case has been registered and investigation is in progress. The accused/private respondents have been evading arrest even after their prayer for anticipatory bail was turned down, Warrant of arrest have been issued against them and several raids are being conducted in the State and beyond for their apprehension.

In view of the above, the Investigating officer is directed to conduct a fair and unbiased investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with

law upon taking into consideration the contention of the petitioner and the injury reports and other relevant documents which shall be produced by her before him. The police authority shall render necessary assistance/protection to the petitioner as and when sought and maintain strict vigil in the area to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
