The petitioners are aggrieved by the progress of Tamluk Police Station Case No. 1137 dated 24.12.2024 as it has been submitted in spite of directions passed by the learned Magistrate, no steps have been taken to unearth the truth which is the factual foundation of the case.

State has submitted a report which reflects that notices have been issued to the affected persons concerned as also documents have been collected. The Registrar of Companies has also been sent necessary requisition for supply of documents. I find that the investigation has been registered in the last week of December, 2024. It is only a month which has expired. The subject-matter of the case

relates to document based investigation. It may consume some time. However, the police authorities would take steps so that the same is effectively conducted and the grievance of the petitioner in the FIR is addressed.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1756 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
