This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution.

The brief fact of the case is that the petitioner made representation before the concerned authority on 13th August, 2022 for demolition of illegal construction made over the Zilla Parishad land. Such representation has not been disposed of as yet. Hence this writ petition. Mr. Kingsuk Mondal, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner is to be disposed of by the appropriate authority, namely, Sub-divisional Officer, Sadar, Krishnanagar.

Learned advocate for the State also submits in the similar fashion.

In view of the submission advanced on behalf of the respective parties, respondent no.7, Sub-divisional Officer, Sadar, Krishnanagar is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 13th August, 2022 within a period of two months from date of communication of this order by a reasoned order after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties and also communicate the result of such order to the petitioner within a week thereof.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application, being WPA 1612 of 2023 stands disposed of. All other applications, if any, also stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after compliance of necessary legal formalities.
