Apprehending arrest in connection with Salar P.S. Case No. 231 of 2020 dated 15.12.2020 under Sections 498A/307 of the Indian Penal Code, the present application has been preferred.

The petitioners are the husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the present case under Sections 498A/307 of the Indian Penal Code is counterblast to the matrimonial suit which is instituted at the instance of the husband.

We have considered the materials in the case diary and having regard to the nature and allegations, we are of

the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required.

Accordingly, we allow the application for anticipatory bail and direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners, namely, 1. Quazi Abdul Aziz alias Kazi Abdul Aziz, 2. Quazi Abdul Nayeem alias Kazi Abdul Naim and 3. Sayeeda Khatun alias Sayida Khatun shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioner no.1 shall meet with the Officer-in-Charge of Salar Police Station once a week until further orders. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 739 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
