1. The teacher-in-charge of Dumuria Jagadish Chandra Institution, Dumuria, Paschim Medinipur, is present before this Court as per our earlier order dated 7th August, 2023.

2. The view of the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Paschim Medinipur, called for earlier, is placed before us and the same is taken on record.

3. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur has given four reasons for not approving the panel, which are reproduced hereinbelow:

a) The School Authority conducted the interview without adopting resolution as to the formation of Selection Committee and date of interview.

b) Without any convincing and valid reason, the Managing Committee of the School approve the panel after five months from the date of preparation of the same by the Selection Committee.

c) Interview has conducted on 28.09.2000 but the said panel submitted on 12.03.2001 in the office of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur seeking approval thereto which is violative of

recruitment procedure.

d) Twenty (20) sponsored and two (2) non-sponsored candidates were called for interview. One Lalit Mohan Nayek was allowed to appear before the Selection Committee on 28.09.2000 in terms of Court's order in his favour passed on the said very date.

4. In view of the aforesaid, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Judge.

5. The appeal fails. The appeal and the connected application being CAN 1 of 2014 (old CAN 7525 of 2014) are, thus, dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
