No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 337 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Harishchandrapur Police Station Case No. 299 of 2022 dated 18.04.2022 under Sections 341/323/308/188/506/379/353/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Solam Yeasdani @ Golam Yasdani & Ors. ...... petitioners Ms. Minoti Gomes ....for the petitioners Ms. Faria Hossain Mr. Anand Keshari ....for the State The petitioners were involved in assaulting public servants.

Apparently, the public servants were trying to hold a meeting with regard to illegal hooking of electricity. The petitioners are complicit in the incident. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 337 of 2023 is dismissed.
