No. 2 This is an application seeking an expeditious disposal of the revisional application being Criminal Motion No. 223 of 2016 presently pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Alipore, South 24 Parganas.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that a revisional application is pending before the learned Sessions Court since 2016 and the same ought to be heard out expeditiously.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party No. 2 submits that it will be in the interest of justice that the revisional application is decided at the earliest. I have heard the submissions of the learned advocates of the parties and have perused the revision petition. It appears that a considerable delay has been occasioned in deciding the revisional application pending before the learned Sessions Court.

In view of the above, and in the interest of justice, I request the learned Sessions Court to conclude the proceeding

and decide the above referred revisional application as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties, preferably within period of six months from the next date of hearing.

With these observations the revisional application is disposed of.
