Mr. Siddhartha Goswami Mr. Upasana Shaw ..for the petitioner Mr. M. Thakur Mr. Swarup Kumar Ghosh ..for the alleged contemnor Perused the affidavit of compliance filed by the Chairman of Ghatal Municipality. It appears therefrom that the illegal construction complained of by the petitioner has been approved by the Board of Councillors of Ghatal Municipality on 22nd February, 2024.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the regularization of the unauthorised construction. It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the act of the Municipality before the competent forum in

accordance with law, if so advised.

The contempt application is disposed of.
