The petitioner complains that some rooms in her house have been locked and she does not have access to those rooms.

Admittedly, the petitioner has gifted her share in the property to her younger son. The younger son resides in the property along with the elder son. There are family disputes between the younger son and the elder son.

Submission of the Counsel for the petitioner is that his client is staying in a Varandah which is belied, since the petitioner was present in Court and stated that she is staying in the room.

The younger and elder sons shall share the responsibility of maintaining the petitioner and take care of all her expenses.

It shall be ensured that the petitioner lives comfortably in the house.

The Officer-in-charge, Amta Police Station, Howrah Rural District shall ensure that the petitioner is living comfortably, in peace and regular vigil shall be maintained by the Amta Police Station on the petitioner's residence.

Any civil dispute between the sons may be agitated before the appropriate civil forum.

The report of the Officer-in-charge, Amta Police Station, Howrah Rural District dated 8th February, 2023 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate be taken on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
