2. The Secretary, Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee, has filed a report. It appears that the legal heirs of the deceased appellant are not interested to proceed with the appeal.

The Communication dated 20th December, 2023 from the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur to the Member Secretary, JHALSA, Ranchi discloses that notice was served upon Mrs. Amita Ghosh, wife of deceased Dhananjoy Ghosh and his son Mr. Kalyan Ghosh and both of them are desirous not to proceed with the appeal. There is also no application for substitution.

3. On such consideration, the appeal stands dismissed as abated.
