A communication has been sent by Ms. Dipti Santhalia Agarwal to the Officer-in-Charge of Howrah Police Station wherein she has expressed that she intends to withdraw all the cases except the mutual divorce case. The report so submitted by Mr. Ali, learned advocate appearing for the State enclosing the declaration be kept with the record.

The subject matter of the present revisional application relates to Howrah P.S. Case No.490 of 2018 dated 09.09.2018 under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The present case, as such, having its genesis from matrimonial disputes and the parties have settled their

disputes and differences, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the said proceedings is unwarranted. Accordingly, all further proceedings of Howrah P.S. Case No.490 of 2018 dated 09.09.2018 including the charge-sheet filed therein is hereby quashed. Thus, CRR 223 of 2023 along with CRAN 3 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
