Hara Gopal Nandi Chowdhury v. State Of West Bengal & ORS
05.08.2021 jb.
W.P.A. 881 of 2020 Mr. Susovan Sengupta Mr. Manas Kr. Sadhu .... For the State None appears on behalf of the petitioner nor is any accommodation prayed for on behalf of the petitioner. State respondents are represented.
I find that the matter was adjourned on earlier occasions i.e. 18th December, 2020, 19th January, 2021, 16th July, 2021 and 26th July, 2021 when none had appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that he has informed the advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner of the adjourned date of hearing. The petitioner is still unrepresented. Hence, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in proceeding with this writ petition.
W.P.A. 881 of 2020 is dismissed for default.
