Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the offence of rape. It is contended there is delay in lodging FIR. However, the allegations show victim had been raped against her will.

Keeping in mind aforesaid facts including the general tendency of victim of sexual offence being hesitant to approach statutory authorities, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
