Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 230 days and similarly placed other accused persons have been granted interim bail by the learned Special Court.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the subject matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of 33.9 kilograms of ganja. 3.

Having considered the quantum of seizure, I am of the view that Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. 4.

As such, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. 5.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 171 of 2026 is dismissed. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
